Nicole McGrail - COO
Nicole McGrail is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Business Administration and Psychology. During her time in college, she was a part of the women's soccer team. In 2012 Nicole joined Quicken Loans where she began as a research analyst. Soon after, she led the consumer insights team and was tasked with creating the brand architecture, solving business problems, identifying new market opportunities, and monitoring the success of marketing initiatives for the family of companies (FOC).
In 2016, she joined Jay Farner's executive team at Rocket as Chief of Staff, and held that position until she left in 2022 to start Ronin Capital Partners as the Chief Operating Officer. In her role as Chief of Staff, Nicole was an extension of the CEO and acted as his eyes and ears to help problem solve across Rocket Mortgage and the entire Family of Companies. She led the planning of, and helped run executive meetings and offsites. Ms. McGrail developed and implemented new company culture guidelines, and most notably, introduced and led the first annual company planning framework process where Objective and Key Results (OKRs) were established. Nicole's skill in identifying, evaluating, and supporting executive leadership proved key to Rocket's significant growth.
Nicole is also the secretary and treasurer of the Jay Farner Family Foundation and resides in Birmingham, MI with her pup Maverick.
