Tessa Matthies - controller
Tessa Matthies graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. During college, Tessa interned at an addiction treatment facility, physical therapy clinic, and worked as a CNA.
Following graduation, she started her career at Rocket Companies working in Human Resources as a program manager. In her role, Tessa created learning curriculums for recruiters and leaders, partnered with the Rocket Community Fund to put together a high school internship program for inner city Detroit students, and was pivotal to the organization and planning of the Rocket Internship Program.
In late 2022, Tessa joined Ronin Capital Partners. Her role spans across multiple business areas including finance, operations, and HR. As a controller, she manages the books, day to day financial needs of the business, and family office operations. As a HR generalist, Tessa assists with insurance, entity management, legal communication, and benefits for the family office. Tessa has a passion for driving projects, organizing data and information which is critical to the success of Ronin Capital Partners.
